Welcome from the Head
Welcome to Whatley Campus! We are a special school for students aged 9-16 with autism. Many of our students have additional needs such as ADHD, speech, language and communication needs, learning delay and current or historic trauma. Our primary aim is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where students can thrive. We offer bespoke education in a supportive, nurturing environment, all set in a building that has been specifically re-modelled for our students’ needs. Our therapeutic and academic curriculum offers young people the opportunity to develop skills for life beyond school, and to grow into confident young adults who enjoy a fulfilling life.
All students benefit from small teaching classes, specially trained teachers and teaching assistants, on-site therapeutic support, and a nurturing staff team. We offer a range of curriculum pathways and student wellbeing is at the centre of everything we do.
We are extremely proud of our students, our staff and our facilities, and we warmly invite you to visit us and experience our school for yourself.
