Melbury College

Melbury College

A partnership that includes Melrose School, Canterbury Campus, Merton Medical Education Service (MMES), Cobham Court and the Whatley Campus.

Welcome from the Alternative Education Headteacher

Cobham Court is a provision that operates within Melbury College and as such is linked to both The Canterbury Campus and Melrose School.

It is a specialist provision which creates bespoke educational packages for a wide variety of pupils with a wide range of needs. We work with local authorities to cater for students with EHCP’s as well as offer respite and timed interventions for students across Melbury College.

On being admitted to Cobham Court students are allocated a key worker to support them both personally and academically. Students are allocated one of three pathways. Each pathway is transferrable and the aim of the provision is to support students to work towards the widest curriculum pathway. All students, regardless of their pathway study English, Maths and Science and the Princes Trust award.

Students have access to a range of facilities including a gym, indoor recreation areas and cooking facilities.
Cobham Court also arranges and oversees alternative provision placements for students within a continuous monitoring framework. We are currently working to extend our range of partnerships to include Tooting na Mitcham FC.
