Parental Code of Conduct
We are a school community where parents, pupils and staff are valued and have a right to feel safe whilst on our sites.
- We ask all parents, families and visitors to act as a responsible role model and set a good example to our pupils.
- Behaviours include shouting, swearing, speaking in an aggressive manner or threatening, pupils or staff are unacceptable and will be challenged. This includes all communications including email, text and telephone calls.
- Any concerns or worries a parent may have should be discussed with staff in a private office or room away from pupils or the teaching environment. Parents should recognise that at times, they may need to make an appointment.
- Any issues between parents must not be brought onto the school site. Please discuss these with the Senior Leadership team of the school so arrangements can be made to support both parties.
- Repeated incidents involving any of the above can result in a request for the adults involved to not enter the school site for a period of time until issues are resolved and a meeting has taken place.
- In extreme circumstances we would request support from our police colleagues
We thank you for working with us to ensure our schools are a happy and safe place for learning.
